On The Ramparts

This is one of my limited edition prints , originally published by SQ productions for their " Warrior Queens " art book . This illustration began as a black and white graphite illustration , which I then scanned into Photoshop and colorized . I basically went in and separated the picture into a whole bunch of layers that I then composited together to build up the colors . Various filters were also used to add additional painterly effects .
